Dr. Steve Johnson is the first urologist in Grayson County to perform GreenLight laser treatment for prostate enlargement and has performed more of the procedures than any other urologist in the area. This state-of-the-art surgical procedure, known as PVP, or photoselective vaporization of the prostate, is performed through a scope and requires no incisions. Unlike tradition TURP (or "roto-rooter" surgery, as some call it), the procedure can usually be done as an outpatient.
